Between the Spires

Theo's latest broadcast series. Find out more here.

A new video series launched in October 2018, Between the Spires run for five episodes in its first series up to December.

Written, produced and presented by Theo, the show consists of interviews and features with some of the interesting and though provoking figures around the city.

The aim is to engage viewers from across the university in what the city's people have to say; we will be speaking to a diverse group of individuals in the five episodes in a bid to show that student journalism can have a wider significance.

In the first episode of Between the Spires, Theo visited O'Hanlon House to learn more about the issue of homelessness across the county.

This show takes much inspiration from his previous work as Station Manager of Oxide Radio, Oxford University's official student radio station. He presented Oxford Today - a radio interview series with notable local figures like the Editor of BBC Oxford, Tim Boswell, and Director of the Ashmolean Museum, Dr Xa Sturgis.

This series, however, has gone even deeper.

Produced and directed by Oxford resident and accomplished media director Stephen Taylor, with music composed by Oxford’s leading female composer, Gabrielle Woodward, Between the Spires brings together the best young talent to showcase some of the most important stories in the area.
